Staff members password will give limited access to PD Tracker. The user will be able to submit PD Requests and also view some reports.
PD Coordinators password will give full access to PD Tracker.
The idea behind this was to make it easier for the PD Coordinator. When a staff member submits a PD Request an email will be sent to the Coordinator. When the Coordinator views this request within PD Tracker, they can accept it or reject it. If the Request is accepted it will be entered automatically into the PD Tracker central database.
1. Automatically: You can set the PD Tracker application to automatically send an email to the staff member, with a link to the PD activity, the day after the activity has been completed. This can be set in the 'Admin' section.
2. Manually: You can manually send an email to the staff member with a link to the PD activity. This function is available via the "PD without Responses" report.
Once the staff member clicks on the link, the Staff Response page will open, allowing the staff member to add their response to the activity.
